Ignatius J. Rausch was born in the tallest tower on the highest hill of a low lying town. Weighing exactly 18 pounds and perfectly round, he was a very difficult child to hold on to. After the third incident of his rolling from his crib, down the tower stairs, out of the hospital and into the village (where he inevitably came to a halt in one of the low lying potholes) the nuns and nurses of St. Ethelbert’s found they had no choice but the put him in a bag specially designed for the transport of a particularly large bowling ball.
