Roller coaster enthusiast Edgar Ray Killen was recently convicted of the racially motivated murders of three men in 1964. In recent years, Killen had attempted to atone for the murders (dramatized in the 1988 film "Mississippi Burning") by encouraging busloads of racially diverse children to cavort together in a spirit of harmony while checking out the new "Kingda Ka" roller coaster at Six Flags. "No amount of frenetic dancing can cleanse his sins," said prosecutor Vincent A. Tabone, "Not even to a song as catchy and upbeat as Mr. Killen's personal, high-energy remix of the Vengaboys' 'We Like to Party.'"
